The hotel was across Odori Park so we got to enjoy the Christmas lights. It was also walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff were all friendly and helpful but communication was a bit challenging as English is not widely spoken. It will help to have Google translate handy to get your message across. it is a "Green Hotel" so rooms are not cleaned daily; but towels are changed and drinking water bottles are replenished daily. It is easy to get to the hotel from Chitose airport but make sure you get the bus that stops near or in front of the hotel. (We made the mistake of going down the Odori Park stop and we had to walk a distance with our luggage).

The room was large enough and had a great view overlooking Odori Park. It was a little too far to walk to from the JR station with bags (we did anyway) but the location was otherwise a great location. A major dining and entertainment district- Susukino- is just a short walk away and has plenty of dining options in all price ranges. The tram loop is also only a short walk away and provides easy access to the ropeway to Mount Moiwa. There is restaurant on the first floor that was available but we did not visit. The bus to the airport stops right in front of the hotel.

The room was clean and quiet. With your stay you have access to a public onsen at the very top of the building that has a view of Odori park. There is an amenity bar (razor, hairbrush, toothbrush, two types of tea, and cotton swabs) in the lobby in case you need anything for your stay/time at the onsen. There is a drink vending machine in the lobby. One of the exits for Odori station is right across the street from the hotel. It is one of the first Airport Limousine Bus Stops and was a huge help when headed to the airport.

Location : Able to walk from Sapporo Station. Nice environment being next to Odori Park Lots of eating places and shopping for all levels close by. A big bonus was the Festival with all the wonderful, colourful floats very close by and which I enjoyed a lot. Room: A little small for 2 people but good for one person. Space didn't matter since the park was right there and just beautiful with the good weather I enjoyed Airport: A big bonus to have the airport bus stop outside the hotel with timetable

Susan

Great location right next to Odori park, and within easy walking distance to Susukino for nightlife and restaurants. Being right next to Odori station is also a godsend for exploring Sapporo via the subways or street cars, plus it being just 1 stop away from Sapporo station to make it easy for those arriving by Shinkansen. There was also a Chitose Airport shuttle bus stop right outside the entrance for those considering that. The breakfast place Il Chianti was nice as well.
